| I am working on designing my own "T".......The Tanner "T" is probably the best one I have ever seen before........Thank you to Mr. Haines for donating all of them to our program! Last summer he gave us six of them........I am going to try to develop one that will work as a low "T" and a high "T" all in 1 "T"..........Usually you have to have 2 of them to accomplish that! I hope I can come up with something soon! |

| 52 DAYS AND IT IS GO TIME BABY! Everybody mark it down.......February 25th is our clinic held here in PEPIN.....If you are a high school softball player for the Pepin-Alma Eagles it would be a good idea to sign up for the clinic here on February 25th......Rachel Haines, Kacey Moline, Molly McIntosh and Samantha Lerum will be on hand as the clinicians!! $30.00 is the cheapest clinic you will ever attend........Also we will feed you lunch.....Signing up will show that you are interested in improving your softball skills.......This will be a fun day and those 4 young ladies will teach you a lot of great new stuff......I will also be there observing all day long......I am not allowed to instruct any high school player that is going to be playing for me until March 19th.........But I will be there all day watching the clinic and taking notes that is for sure.......What are some of the things that these ladies might be covering on that day???? Well I can think of a few things.......How about.....Throwing mechanics.....Throwing progression....Proper fielding mechanics.....Proper footwork for infielders.....catching footwork....catching mechanics from blocking balls to taking signs to skateboard and release......catchers covering bunts.....Sliding (the right way)......The Pepin-Alma hitting progression......Bunting mechanics......What to do as a runner and a hitter in a suicide squeeze or a safety squeeze.....Lefty slapping......Drag bunting......Sac bunts (what do we want to accomplish with that)........Outfield drills......Crow hopping.....fence balls......how to turn and cover a fence ball.......cut offs......turning the correct way....YOU WILL ALL HERE ME SCREAM "HIT YOUR CUTOFF" 1000 TIMES THIS YEAR!!!!! Anyway......You got the idea......Sign up......Its cheap and you will learn a lot and it will be a fun day!! |
